Notice to Tenants and Tenant Associations

Notice to Tenants and Tenant Associations

If your building has been hit with a Major Capital Improvement (MCI) rent increase, you may benefit from litigation that is being planned by tenant advocates and tenant attorneys. They are looking for buildings whose tenants have been served with MCI applications from the state Division of Housing and Community Renewal that notified the tenants that they had 30 days to file an answer or objections to the MCI application and that were dated June 1991 or later.

If your building fits into this category, please call Jon Lilienthal at Met Council at (212) 693-0553
