This is a big year for New York City elections! Over half of the NYC Council are facing term-limits, prohibiting them from running again. The City Council makes decisions on land use, the budget, and provides oversight to our agencies. This election could bring dramatic changes to New York City.
We asked every candidate for New York City Council, whose contact information we could find, to fill out a questionnaire about some of the issues that are important to tenants and the housing movement.
